I GOT UP AT 3am IN THE MORNING TO HEAD HOME AND BY 9am (during this time of the year we only get 6 hours of day light) I HAVE STOPPED TO FUEL UP AND WAS ABLE TO GET A PICTURE.

THE 300kms OVER THE SO-CALLED ROAD TO LYNN LAKE TOOK ME 5hrs BECAUSE I JUST TOOK MY TIME.

ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON "PEE DEE" IS HOME IN THE "KINGDOM" AND ONLY 5 DAYS OF FUN FOR ME.

I DECIDED NOT TO UNLOAD ANYTHING BECAUSE I'M TIRED FROM MY BIG TRIP SOUTH. I PLUG IN MY 922 LOADER TO UNLOAD ON SATURDAY. BUT SATURDAY MORNING I FIND THE DOGS HAVE TRIPPED OVER THE CORD SO THE LOADER HAS NOT BEEN PLUGGED IN ALL NIGHT. SO THE ODDS ARE NOT IN MY FAVOUR OF THE LOADER EVEN TRYING TO START.

NEXT THE TEMPERATURE DROPPED TO -30c LAST NIGHT AND THAT CAUSED TIRE TO POP THE BEAD. IT IS ONLY AN HOUR TO GET THE TIRE TO BEAD BACK UP BUT I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE PLAYING WITH THE TIRE TODAY.

NOW I NEED TO GET SOMETHING STARTED IN ABOUT 4 HOURS, THE D6 9U KNOWN AS "THE HOOD" IS THE BEST CHOICE.

WHILE "THE HOOD" WAS WARMING UP WITH THE ELECTRIC BLOCK HEATER, I SNAPPED THIS PICTURE OF THE "FAMOUS BLACK CAT" AND "ROLLER-LESS" HIDING IN THE SNOW.

XENA WENT SNOW SHOEING BECAUSE HER HELP WAS NOT NEEDED.

I USED THE TIME WE HAD TO WAIT FOR THE "THE HOOD" TO WARM UP TO TRY AND FIND OR READ THE SERIAL NUMBER FOR "PEE DEE". EVEN WITH SOAP STONE ON THE NUMBER STILL HARD TO READ.

I ALSO STARTED MARKING THINGS SINCE I'M GETTING OLDER.

NEXT WE UNLOADED AND MARKED THE SPARE PARTS FROM "PEE DEE" AND THE PARTS FROM "EGGO"


IT ONLY TOOK 2 HOURS AND "THE HOOD" WAS UP AND RUNNING TO UNLOAD "PEE DEE".

FOR SOME REASON UNLOADING IS ALWAYS EASIER THEN LOADING.


NEXT DRAG "PEE DEE" BACK TO THE "KINGDOM"
